Built by one developer in Jabalpur.
ScrollTrace is built by Badal Lalwani, an independent, self-taught Flutter developer based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. He started ScrollTrace in 2025 and publishes it on Google Play as the developer of ScrollTrace: Track Doomscroll.
Why ScrollTrace exists
Screen-time apps report minutes per app. That number hides the part that actually hurts: the endless swipe through Reels and Shorts, mixed in with messages and long videos that are fine. ScrollTrace started from a simple question — how many short videos do I actually go through in a day? — and counts exactly that.
The goal is not to shame anyone or to block apps. It is to give an honest number that you can watch go down.
